Job Description:

Work on a variety of project including new equipment purchase and installation to equipment modification. Responsible for all phases of capital project from management from procurement of equipment to managing contractors who install equipment. Work closely with maintenance manager and operations. Some travel is required in order to support projects in other plants. Provide consulting services to all departments in plant, identify cost saving or improvement projects and determine ways to complete the projects in an efficient manner.



Requirements:

* BS Engineering, prefer Mechanical Engineering.
* 2-5 years in maintenance or project engineering in a high speed production environment.
* Must have experience in food processing with an understanding of food plant sanitation.
* Must be familiar with FDA, EPA, DNR, OSHA and USDA and Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
*Strong computer skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
