Plant Quality Assurance Manager Code: Location: Call Us! Job Description: Manage the day-to-day quality assurance of food products produced and shipped. Implement and manage the internal quality audit procedures and schedule. Track and initiate investigation of compliant trends. Assure compliance for regulatory and food safety programs. Manage product hold release programs and manage QC Supervisors. Assures compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards to include HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA, Organic, Kosher, canned process foods and GFSI. Requirements: * BS (MS preferred) Chemistry or related science. * 5+ years experience in QC for Food or Chemicals and have demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the field. Knowledge or experience with canning. *Experience with HACCP, GMP and lab testing. * Innovative, forward thinker; able to create and recommend new and unique ways to enhance the overall performance of the business.. * Strong computer skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
