Confectionery Technologist

Responsible for new product development and process development of confectionery/candy products. Also, provide technical support for the sales team to develop custom products for customers. Manage projects to develop new products, line extensions, and improve production processes. Coordinate ingredient sourcing, testing of new ingredients, and functional evaluations for performance. Travel includes to customers and key trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • BS Food Science or related plus 2 – 5 years of R&D experience.
  • MS Food Science or related plus 1 – 2 years of R&D experience.
  • Experience developing candy or related products from initial concept through to production including scale up and plant trials.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Strong communication skills.
