Not Just a Resume!


TechsalesCandidates tell us that they are sick and tired of recruiters calling to “pitch” a job without knowing anything about their skills, interests, and goals. At M.K. and Associates, we don’t “pitch jobs”, we build relationships. Many of the candidates we place are people that we have worked with for weeks, months, or even years. They are strong performers who are open to the right opportunity. That is why we start every candidate relationship by learning about the candidate’s skills, interests, and goals. Once we have established the criteria, we can then present appropriate opportunities, whether that is immediately or at some point in the future. Things we consider include marketable experience, career aspirations, work environment and corporate culture preferences, personal interests, and geographic preferences.
